Level 1 – This is a complete beginner’s course, so there is no need for any prior experience in meditation. You will be introduced to meditation in a progressive manner over the five weeks with video and written instructions that you can learn at your own pace.
We will show you the postures in meditation and the mental preparation before you begin the meditation. Mindfulness of Breathing will be shown to you in a two easy steps to ensure you enjoy a realistic outcome. This course will also teach you Metta, a meditation on love and compassion that will leave you with a contented heart.
Upon completing this course you will know what meditation is all about and start to take more control of how your mind operates.
Level 2 – This is a five-week intermediate course building on from Level 1, with video and written instructions that you can learn at your own pace.
We will show you three further advanced techniques in Mindfulness of Breathing to develop your concentration further. You will also learn how to make use of your inner Sound of Silence as a tool for mindfulness meditation, and you will be introduced to Walking meditation. We will discuss the “hindrances” which are the obstacles in meditation, and how to overcome them so that you can settle into deeper meditation.
Upon completing this course you should have achieved a much higher level of concentration and focus.
Level 3 – This is a three-week advance course with videos and written instructions that you can learn at your own pace. You should have done equivalent to Level 2 prior to this course.
Here, you will learn how to practice insight meditation using bodily sensations and mental objects (thoughts, emotions and moods). You will learn how to do Walking insight meditation. You will understand how to get more insight from “wise attention”.
Upon completing this course, you should be able to integrate meditation into daily activities, turning any mundane chores into potential insights.
